Full Job Description
What you will do:
• Drive Reefer Tractor Trailer within Montreal and surrounding areas
• Pick up products in good condition and within scheduled time (4-6 pick-ups. Possibility of 1+ deliveries based on business need)
• Perform skid work at client locations with a manual pallet jack
Complete any necessary paperwork accurately
Perform all safety checks, including pre-trip and post-trip inspection
Report on all safety hazards and accidents
Use a cellular phone to communicate with Dispatch, Lead Hand and Manager ie. Truck breakdowns, delivery concerns, answer calls, texts etc….
Provide excellent customer service
Build strong client relationships
Adhere to safety and compliance regulations
Additional duties as required

What we require of you:
High School Diploma
Possess a Clean Commercial Driver's Abstract
Minimum 2 year Commercial highway driving experience
• Capable of using a manual pallet jack to offload freight at client locations
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
Strong organizational skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork
Customer Focus – experience providing quality customer service
Adaptable to change
Experience working in a fast paced environment
Experience working independently and with minimal supervision
Ability to work on a team and being a team player
Must be comfortable with using onboard or handheld computer devices
Must have a safety and compliance mind set
